| How can one get CISA work experience? |
| The basic work requirement for CISA is to work in an IS Audit environment for a minimum of 5 years?
How can one get such experience in Pakistan where thee is no culture for IS audits?
Can somebody please guide me on this?

| I have a friend who is just about to complete his articleship. Now he is very confused about his future and keeps bugging me whether he should stay in practice or got find a job inthe industry.
What do u suggest? For informaation purposes, he has qualified during his articleship with a reputed, top firm in Pakistan.

| Best foreign job destination?? |
| Is it the Middle East.. or more in particular... Dubai?
A friend tells me that things arent much rosier for ppl over there of our profession than here in Pakistan. The middle east market has been gutted with much cheaper, ready-to-work-longer-hours professionals from other South Asian countries like Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh etc.
Any comments?
What about South east Asia... ie. Malaysia, Singapore etc?

| Are MBA's better than us accountants? |
| If they are not .. then why do they get more high-paying jobs than accountants? What are their plus points?
In my opinion, there is no substitute for 4 years of the 'ragraa' of articleship.... but still MBAs are preferred. An MBA in finance who spends much less time doing MBA... and that too without any work experience (except for a few weeks of internship) is taken as an equal, and in some cases preferred over a CA for job positions?
