Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder Merger
A giant firm. CMP is of the view that size does matter. Well in my view giant sized firms are not good for the long-term wellbeing of the accountancy profession. As these large organisation develop a bearucratic management style, and that style of management bring operational inefficiencies and ineffectiveness with it. As we have seen in past globaly that audit has just became a legal formality and nothign else. In my opinion Dada's of Accountancy profession in pakistan must strive to build strong profession and not strong firms.

Did Yousuf Adil deserve DTT Membership?

What has become of the old KMHR?
I want to know what is the firm like nowadays after losing the membership of DTT and how many partners are they left with? Which clients did they lose as a result of losing DTT and also because of the changing partners scenario? And by the way... what exactly is the current name of the firm...? I mean it has changed quite a lot in the recent times... hasnt it?

MODULE E V/S PE-1
This was the 1st time that PE 1 and Module E was examined simultaneously.Almost the same subjects except Business Management and also almost same number of students and if u look at the result their is hell of difference between results of both exams. in Module E only 14 candidates passed while in PE 1 more than 150 students passed. doesnt it appear that icap has set double standards for both these exams in terms of passing criteria. in my opinion this is due to fact that icap is awarding the permanant credit to Modular students. ranjeet
