| Which ICAP exam approach do u prefer? |
| In my humble opinion, students of PE-1 who had the option to choose between modular and traditional approach shouldve still gone with the traditional approach because the modular approach adds another burdensome subject, Business Management to cope with.
The course material of the subject is too extensive to be covered in such a short span of time.
What do u ppl say?

| Is Taxation gonna be the attempt-killer this time? |
| In the last Professional-II attempt.... SFM was the paper which stopped ppl from qualifying.
I predict that its gonna be taxation this time... 'cos it was real chicken in the last attempt.
What do u ppl say?

| What exactly is modular approach of exams? |
| Although i have read the yellow book of ICAP, but i still am not too clear about this new system of exams.
Is it going to be like ACCA papers where if u clear a paper u dont have to give it again? I have heard from a few ppl that over here, one will have to get atleast D grades in all the rest of the papers.
Is that so? Can somebody please clarify?

| ICAP's Exemption Policies |
One of our forum member have raised his voice on a very nerve tingling issue recently faced by ICAP's students (who are not the siblings of BIG brothersssss).

I have heard about this before any one there who can give us full story, someone here can explain Institute Perspective.
And give answers to these burning questions.
1) Why was the Tax Paper of Last attempt was so easy????
2) Why the institute have taken back exemptions to ACCA/CIMA. Without giving proper notice period.
3) On whose pressure that notice peiod was given.
4) Why the Policy Maker of ICAP are not able to make long term policies, benefical to both Students, Institute and Profession.
5) Why ICAP have not taken back exemption from ICAEW, ICAA, CICA, ICAS, ICAI, ICANZ..........., All these institutes give maximum exemptions to ACCA/CIMA qualified, as per their stick-on-well policy.

ICAP has revised the exemption policy for ACCA students ..............
What u guys feel abt that .........in my opinion ICAP's decission is very correct and the exemption offered by ICAP should be in line with the exemptions offered by ACCA to ICAP students.

| ICAP have recently introduce a new subject Information Technology in module F. The course outline of this subject is adopted from CISA.
CISA is a specialized certification in information system therefore the syllabus should be redesigned to enhance its practical applicability by the accountants.
