salamzz....well i have just given the exams of matrik...n i m looking to do CAT and then ACCA ...will it be better or i should do F.sc becuz i have heard that inter is very much necessary after doing matik..plz tell me
I have been working on a homework problem for ages and have about to give up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here it goes. A company bought back some of its treasury stock in May of 2006. The shareholders of the shares had filed a lawsuit against the company the previous year (2005) because the board of the company had failed to fulfill its responsibility to maximize shareholder's value. In June of 2006 the lawsuit was dropped and neither side had to pay anything. What I need to know is the Generally accepted accounting principle/FASB statement that will tell me how to deal with this. Again Thank you so much.

THE COURSES OFFERED BY THE UNOVERSITIES I AM APPLYING TO ARE AS FOLLOWS: AVOUNTING AND FINANCE 1) BA (HONS) ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE 2) ACCA PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANCY COURSE (PAC) 3) BA(HONS) FINANCIAL MANAGMENT BUSINESS 1) BA (HONS) BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION THE ABOVE MENTIONED ARE THE ONLY BUSINESS AND ACCOUNTANCY RELATED COURSES OFFERED BY THEM. hi, i am a computer science graduate.after working an year in the IT sector i have decided now to go for a finance/accounting career as have now realised computing is simply not for me, I am interested in doing ACCA/CFA, but fear dont have the necessary 'base'or technical know-how for it to start it. need some advise !!! how about doing an MBA[finance] first and then completing the remaining ACCA/CFA papers?or taking a big risk and doing ACCA right from the scratch. please do reply.......

Need Suggestion For Fin. Accounting Books Module B
AoA: I Have two Books for Financial accounting(um missing sumthing Study text) three, but still um confused which book to follow i have One of Chacha Ghani:P and other of Meigs Williams, both the books are quite different Ghani starts from the roots, doesn't look the same case with Meigs Williams, though Meigs is also simple one but topics order looks awkward, i have seen one another writer's book sumone like 'Arif', so i need to know guys help me out!keep on praying everyone is gonna make it! latz tata take carez Love you!ALLAH HAFIZ:)
