suppose a person earns more then 500000/ from salary for the year ending 30/06/2011 and has no other income. Does he have to file wealth statement only or return as well.

Every resident taxpayer filing a return of income for any tax year whose last declared or assessed income or the declared income for the year, is "one million rupeesâ rupees or more shall furnish a wealth statement and wealth reconciliation statement for that year along with such return.
