I'm Bla Bla Bla... I did my articledship from Bla Bla Bla... right now I'm doing Bla Bla Bla at Bla Bla Bla & Co. (OR) I'm Manager of Bla Bla Bla Department in Bla Bla Bla Company...... BULL**it..!!! pathetic...Stinking!!!... Is this all sort of introduction we've got???? These are the things everybody does in life. Everybody (to some extent or in some field) is educated, does some job, eats, generates and dies....??? What the hell are we doing anything new or anything to be proud of?? Education??? you can't compete Poets, Philosophers and Professors... Lifestyle??? you can't even compete a third grade (hooker type) lollywood film extra!!! (let alone bolly or hollywood)... Authority??? you can't compete a simple graduate who was elected as an MNA or MPA and then became the Minister.... Now what's left there for all of you to be proud of???? Why don't we search for another and unique type of introduction???
They say "Al-Khamoshi... Neem Raza"... when one says "I'm indecissive"... it means one has reached upon decision of "indecissiveness"... when one says "No Comments"... Possibly, Probably, Most Likely... one could find no comments... (Asif!! my apologies again for Ad. message if I teased you... rest assure I never meant that what you thought..).

who says poets need to be educated??? (I mean vocab dont make u educated, does it?) a CA can also be a professor or philosopher, why not?? so I think its 'education' we r here for, and u bet, I'm proud of whatever I've gained over here, and still m gaining (thanks to Allah)
Life style???? well why dont u become a hooker if u r realy so hell crazy for a big life style??(I dont think a humble and plain life style does any damage??)
Authority?? having authority is one thing, and imposing it unfairly on others is another, tha's what ur favorites (MPA etc) do,, I think its preferable to stay away from an authority that makes u feel 'god' like. I think we can use our 'education' to change people's mind than to force things on them (the later is an easier job)
what's left for me to be proud of??? well most of the CA qualified belong to a lower middle class group, its a great thing that they have excelled purely on the basis of their qualifications (that they otherwise would not have achieved) and that no other qualification could get them (eg. MBA) and their parents didnt have to move places requesting people to get their sons a job (even with MBA to get a great job u need to have the 'jack', not so with CA), (I dont know the current fees structure) but CA still is the only way for a lower income guy to fulfil his dreams of making big through hard work.

one reason probably why 'the one' is so averse to the idea is probably cause he cant public his identity, cuz whatever he has said 'bout ICAP and calling certain people 'vultures', they definitely will attract 'disciplinery actions' (if he's connected with ICAP, I think he is)
I dont like this idea either, cause whatever u say here is 'written evidence' and sometimes u might right something that is 'discreditable to a member of the institute' <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> , even otherwise for eg. there was this discussion 'rate firms' so if theres some one who rates AFF as top, and he's in practice and in AFF (although everybody says and almost believes that AFF is at top, I dont) then he could be subject to disciplinary actions etc.... so I plan to continue to enjoy my anonymity....... and for u 'the one' be careful pal <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

the only place AA went wrong when they destroyed their working papers (like they had actually worked), otherwise they could take SEC to consider it as negligence on their part (I mean it could be hushed up) but destroying their working papers realy left no other choice to SEC.

Not surprised... in fact there are many who are in fact just "anothers" but still they keep on "....hanging with..." because they know "it's the noly way for Taraqqi... so Hang on"... hey guys
well, i accidently came across this site 'n found it pretty intriguing, keepin in mind the kinda things paki acc. studs usually discuss!(being a such species myself!)...well, i just wanna add this much 2 the already established forum that, "Guys, we need to be more than just Accountants, i mean, life isnt all about what we study & wat we work! @ the end of the day, this comprises a very small portion in our lives, despite of the influence our jobs play in our lives!" & i slightly disagree with the point of views conveyed by my friend "Paki", regardless of which family bckgrnd a guy graduates his CA, he doesnt become the ONLY ONE!(no offence to the one!
) & becomes superior to MBA's 'n other fellows, its just a graduation/degree & shouldnt be taken too much to your head cuz thats EXACTLY wat i've observed in ppl having name plates starting with "Chartered Accountant" )
