Hi allz

Question is simple

Why not to make the life of the taxpayer simple?

to ellobrate it

why don't we have straight rate traeted as finnal tax for tax payers follwing in any sector/business/employment?

for example

tax rate on

salary be 7.5% (regardless the gender age and nature of employment of taxpayer)

CNG station business 10%

Packing material manufacturing industry 10%

Agriculture 5%

etc

Why we have slab rates for different taxpayers of different categories?

Why all the tax payments not treated as final?

Why not to have such a tax rate thats justified for taxpaper too
as
who among us would like to pay 25% tax on our salaries?
which company pays 35% tax on its fair/legal eanrings?
who dont like to have fake accounts to show minimum tax laibility?

Why to have headiche of tax rebate ,tax refund, exemption certificate, tax losses being carried forward, tax depreciation and accounting depreciation etc

and Why to have complex concept of deffered tax outside Icap Exams too(lol)?

so

Why not to make the life of the taxpayer simple by imposing staright reasonable tax rate on his gross receipts, as final tax?

tax department students, tax consultants as well as seniors at here plz reply

Regards

Answer may be simple also

If they make the system easy
If they impose the justified tax rates
If there is no system of Exemption certificate and Refund
If taxpayers dont bother to make fake accounts

then
How the life of tax department's staff will be easy?
What will be their other source of income?
Who will pay them 10k-15k even more for just a 3 month exmption certificate?
Who will pay them 10%-15% commission on tax refund?

and for people like us who dont want the system be improved

who will pay CAs/Consultants for tax related issues?

If u have anyother answer then plz reply
