Lolz... well, I think Pakistanis are more knowledgeable about India than Indians about Pakistanis...!!

wonder how that's possible but frankly i think that's the way it is.. till i got onto this forum i didnt even know bollywood movies were so popular on ur side.. but now i think i'd be so dumb to think that way.. in fact most of the members of this forum seem to watch the indian movies even bef we can see em!!

well i guess that's why i'm registered on this forum!! to find out more about ur lives..

we definitely are more interested in knowing about others.. and we dont restrict ourselves to reading and buying only indian stuff.

I think that we have over-reacted in welcoming Mr. Asif Ghat. I dont think a Pakistani person will find same response on an Indian forum ..... I bet Mr. Asif Ghat would've never had such a welcome if he was a Pakistani ........ Reasons?????????? Gharki murghi daal barabar ........ Now Mr Asif Ghat dont you get offended with this message as it is our "internal matter".

I am afraid it reflects an inferiority complex ......... it reflects our passion towards Indian culture ..... a passion that .... Indians dont have towards Pakistan ....... Now I know I will again have to face arsh remarks from our prestigious members .... but a fact is a fact ....... The fact is that most of the Indians dont give a dmn about Pakistan or Pakistanis .... "Maleechh" this is the word they use for us ..... I am afraid that our nest generation will be a hybrid generation obsessed with star plus culture ..... it will say "Namastay" instead of "Salaam" and would prefer "Phayray" around fire on wedding ........ Now dont question me about knowing these traditions of Indian culture .... Now lets start giving me a rough time .....

And Asif my friend, no... we aint out here to paint a rosy picture of Pakistan. Since it aint rosy, then why should we present an untrue picture to anybody? While saying all this, must also add that Pakistan mightn't be a paradise, but it aint hell on earth either as some others like to present it. Its more like limbo, some where in the middle.

To begin with i had no idea i'd get such a warm welcome on this forum.. for which i'm very happy and thank all the members..
but i'd like to clear one misconception that u seem to have bout us indians... we are very amiable ppl too.. we respect everyone who respects us.. and i'm sure if any pakistani registered on any of our forums he'd get tthe same response as well.. why do u wanna inculcate such misconceptions within urself and hence have such a cynical view of everythin we do.. look at things with an open mind and u'll be surprised to see that indians and india aint as bad as u think we are..

Have you ever seen a cricket match between Pakistan and India at any ground in India ..... People get actually dead quiet when they see Pakis win in India ...... This is their "amiablilty" at play grounds ..... Imagine what would it be like to face them in any other forum ?????

well ophie i came here to make friends i'm gonna end up making a few even if it means i have to face a few ppl like u on my way.. well talking bout indo-pak relationships.. they're gettin better everyday.. jus in case u dunno there's been no cross border firing for quite sometime with the "military cease-fire" goin on!!
well talking bout indian hospitality.. when a pakistani baby by the name noor, was brought to bangalore for a heart surgery the whole hospital was flooded with "get well soon" and "good luck" messages from ordinary indian citizens!!
we wudnt do it if we didnt care bout our relationship with ppl across the border!!
and coming to our "friendship" on the cricket field.. i can cite an example from the chennai test wen pak toured india the last time(i'm giving this example cuz i'm from chennai and i was at the stadium when the incident i'm about to cite occured) it was the final day and india needed 20 runs to win the test match with 3 wickets in hand and best of all sachin was at the wicket.. the match took a very unexpected turn with wasim akram taking the last 3 wickets for 3 runs and pak winning the match by 17 runs.. the whole stadium was very upset but that didnt stop us from applauding the victorious pak team and in fact the entire stadium gave the team a standing ovation while wasim lead the team on a victory lap around the stadium!!
and guess wat the next day the newspapers where filled with articles where the pak players especially the coach javed miandad praising the chennai crowd.. well this is one example of how amiable we're on the field too!!

well i guess this answers ur question and if u still think we cant have a friendly co-existence then i'm afraid to say i dont think many ppl will agree with u!!

hey and by the way jus remembered wasim didnt pick the last 3 wickets in the match i was referring to.. he got sachin and saqlain got the next 2 with his top spinners!!

I just liked your attitude as an individual person. It doesnt mean that I started likingwhole indian nation. I just guesses that you have a good temprament. It is a quality that I like .......
