Need Information - ACCA exemptions for B Com - sdhaider_50700 - 04-01-2005
I 've done B.com and want to do ACCA could any body tell me in which papers I can get exemption on B.Com basis.

Have you contacted ACCA directly? I think they will be the best people for any guidance on this issue. They might have local offices near your location.

Hi,
If u have done 2 years B.Com then no exemption is available...
and if ur B.Com(Hons) then first 3 papers will be exempt for you.

in Brief (according to my information)
on the basis of B.com(Two Years)CAT's - T1,T2,T3,T4 Exempt,
NO Exemption Fee
on the basis of CAT - Part 1 of ACCA Exempt,
NO Exemption Fee
in Detail (Please confirm from ACCA in writing)
As per ACCA Blanket Exemption policy,
if you have done B.com(Pass)Two years,
you may get Exemption in T1, T2, T3, T4 of CAT
There is No Exemption Fee for above.
only Registration Fee/Annual Subscription is required for Exemption.
after passing remaining papers T5 to T9 and getting Exeperience you can get CAT Certificate.
if at the time of registration you Opt.for ACCA Trasfer after CAT,You will directly trasfer to ACCA main stream.
and Three papers of Part 1 or Complete part 1 of ACCA is Exempt for CAT passed candidates
and There is NO Exemption Fee for CAT passed from ACCA Part 1.
and you will get two certificates with you

no exemption is availabe on the BCOM basis for pakistani student
Never seek advice from a Chartered Accountant. They are trained to find problems not solutions.

There are four ways u can enroll ur self directly in ACCA.
1) By doing CAT
2) Through Mature Student Route
3) By Passing A Levels
4) BA, B.com, Bsc (in short a two years graduate)
So if you are a b.com graduate you can get direct admission in ACCA,but no exemptions.
