CMA(US) Vs. CIMA - Sagzz - 12-24-2005

Hi, nice informative forum you've got here!
I am in my last sem MBA(finance) from one of the good colleges.
I'd be grateful if someone could comment on how the CMA(US) qualification compares to the CIMA(UK) qualification in the international job markets?

thanks & Regards

When you speak about International market, it is a very vague term. In Pakistan, Middle East, UK/Europe and Australia CIMA has a better market penetration. CMA is a US qualification and would be of value in that country alone.

On An academic note I see CIMA as adding more value to your skills and knowledge as compared to CMA. Its pretty much like comparing CPA and CA
