and what if a guy doesnt get in a big4 firm for articleship??
is it true that a fresh ACCA can easily get a job in the UK or UAE and earn 2 to 3 lacs ??

i also wanted to ask that why do ppl alwayz say that acca is expensive as compared to ca inter,, cuz as far as ive searched .. its almost the same ,,, u guyz can see the fee structure on tabani's site !!!

Hi,
just compare the examination fees of ACCA and CA-Inter...ACCA exam fees are somewhere around Rs 100000, CA-Inter exam fees are hardly around Rs 10000...
Tution fee of ACCA per paper is around Rs 5000 on average...CA-Inter per module costs between Rs 15000 to Rs 20000...
So CA-Inter Exam fee + Tution fee is even less than ACCA exam fees...
How you are making them equally expensive,we want to know it...

anothermortal, what you are not getting is that, ACCA examination fees that you have to pay to ACCA UK (plus registration and annual subscriptions etc) is around Rs 100000, and this figure is apart from the fee that is mentioned in the link above...
waisay bhi I am astonished to see the fees demanded by this school for CA Intermediate...I dont think that this is the case here in Lahore...

anothermortal, you seem to have a 1001 questions, but let me see if I can put in my 10 cents.

-I think maani has put well the reason for why ACCA is expensive, there is no doubt about that.
-On you thing about ACCA getting a job in Dubai for 1-2 lacs, well I would say it is quite ambitious, you would get that kind of money after atleast 3-4 years of work experience.
-Just having passed the ACCA exam would not land you in any paying job any where, employers are concerned about what you can 'deliver' more than what degree you have, that is just a 'differentiater' for them.
