Financial Risk manager Designation FRM..Should i? - aaddaam - 07-26-2009
Anybody having an idea about the job market of FRM in pakistan recently?what about globally? i read an article in business week saying the hottest job to go for in coming days is risk management.. what do you all say about it?

Dear aaddaam
In my personal view from US/Canadian job market, FRM is a good designation, but so far as a complementary designation i.e. the designation which increases value of some base designation like CFA. So far, I haven't seen recognizable number of job postings in Canada/USA which require FRM <b>alone</b>, though many people study FRM here and many job postings require FRM along some other designations. However, I got no chance to evaluate FRM in Pakistani or Middle Eastern markets.
No doubt... no one can deny from importance of risk management in today's competitive business world.
