hello everyone,
m waqas from sargodha..i did my b.com from punjab university and now m willing to do acca...but m confused abt the selection of institution..ma teachers are saying i should do to uk for acca...i have no information about acca...plz tell me about acca its scope, how many semesters etc...
and yeh what is the main difference of acca from uk and from pakista?
plz help me guyz m really worried bcoz i have very short time to decide where 2 go?i hope u ll help me....n yeh i m registered in acca..plz tell me complete information about acca

hi...ACCA is a UK qualification...so no concept of ACCA from PK...it has 3 parts...3 papers in Part 1, 6 papers in Part 2 and 5 Papers in Part 3...if u pass the papers continuously u will complete ACCA in 2.5 years...(exam held every 6 months)...u can attempt the exams after registration with ACCA...prepration for exams can be done privately or u can join a college like skans or pac...for registration and further information use this link...

lot of Pakistani students are flooding towards UK...I think one will get real success if he/she do something special here in Pakistan...coz earning a good qualification here and making a good career in Pakistan is 1000% tougher task as compared to making career in UK...

well sir, i agree with u..but in pakistan most of the companies prefer those acca,z who get there degree from uk...i dont know y the do so..but its a fact that they prefer uk educational system....lets suppose m going 2 get a gob and if i did my acca in pakistan and a boy who did his acca from uk our people prefer that uk boy....dat,s is the main reason for going there...anywayz please tell me the specfic benefits which u think i ll get after doing my acca..aur acca kernay kay baadh hum koon koon si post per join ker saktay hain....m waiting 4 ur reply

hi...I told u earlier...U will get the same certification for ACCA if u do it in UK or PK...there is no question of difference in value...its not equal to masters...its only a professional qualification...
U can get MBA degree after completing ACCA...but letz just think about ACCA...coz atleast I know only few people who have completed ACCA...

Yes Ur Knowledge ABT ACCA is queit poor.
1st--- Surprisingly for u , ACCA completed frm UK isnt GIven Preference than AN ACCA quaified frm PK. More or Less its like an honour ahowing it to otheres that u have completed ur studies frm Abroad :-)
2nd--- Preference is given upon the expereince gained, if u have gained working expereince frm UK u will be preferred More.
3rd--- ACCA isnt Equal to a masters degree while ACA is.
4dr-- ACCA is equal to a graduation in pakstani Scenario.
5th--- On clearing Part 1 u can gain exemption in Other Qualification Eg CIMA. On paper to paper Basis.
On Clearing Part 2 u can apply for a BSc Degree in Applied Accounting From Oxford brookes university. For it u have to submit a Research Project.
On clearance of Part 2 u can even claim exemption from CAT (Certified Accounting Techninician) It wil be wholly exempt and on paying the exemption fees u will obtain the degree of CAT.
I hope this wil clear ur views a bit.

hi...all the companies nees ACCAs...coz accountants are needed in all companies and firms...so dont worry about ur job after completing ACCA

Any job like Finance manager..., If u have done ur articles then u wil be recruited in Good Positions...
And there are no specific companies, every company needs Accountants.... Interestingly even Hospitals needs Accountants .......

Manages he accounts.... Inspects them and probably verifies them and in some instance Corrects them. Thanks......

I meant He applies these all control measures over the Work of B.Commers and his Subordinates......
Or waisey bhi B.Com wale A/c bana ker maintain karein ge ,, jabke accounts ki ultimate responsibility Cheif Accountant ke pass hi ho gi...

Neither u nor i have been in the field of Job Before... I think what a"actually" a accountant does can be best narrated by other members who r in these type of position like Finance Manager..
Or agar woh nahin baate to Hum Khould he dekh le gein Job ke waqat... Tab is ko mystery hi rehne dete hain.....

one more thing that ACAs are doing is tax consultancy....in uk also accountants are tax consultants...

Is attempt mein meinne LAW or TAX diya hai........ Or jitna Ratta Law ko Chahiye tha shaid Hi Utna ratta kisi or subject ko chaheyi hota....
Haan shaid u r right , i probably find it more difficult, but thats bcaz i dont like it, i hate it to study , i dont know why and i have even seen many students who r in same positions like me.....
In Skans Multan studying there was fun, studying by Sir Tauqeer we probably devoleped a more freindly atmosphere in Class which even caused hindrances in studies...... Out of class we played Volley BAll and Cricket in the Ground..... On returning home i layed down at bed and liked to study LAW which was more theoratical or rather only theoratical and didnt studied TAX........... Probably thats some reasons........
Then TAX caused so much difficulties that a day before TAX we friends sat down together till 4am of night and studied TAX, while the paper of TAX was at 2 Pm. Phir Bhi Allah Ka Shukar Hai Paper Acha Ho Gaaya......
Ab mein 4 appers attempt karoon ga or 3rd se classes shorough ho jaeein g multan mein... Leken mein ne suna hai dost se ke SKANS multan ACCA level 3 ki classes shoruogh hi nahin kar raha.... Shaid wahan per teachers nahin hain ya shaid Students .......
Mujhe yeh batao ke LHR mein kaunsa College best hai SKANS , PAC, ya phior Yasir Ali or SKANS ke or teachers ne Mil Kar EK naya college shourough kiya hai........ Us ka naam mujhe nahin aata thanks.......

haan skans k kuch teacher ne skans ko chor kar aik naya college shuru tuo kiya tha...but its still not popular...Ascend...shaid yeh naam hai un k college ka...
Pac and skans both are good here...

Nahin Multan mein 4 colleges ACCA kara rahein hain...
1. PFC-- Pioneer Finance College
2.SKANS
3.MCA-- Mulan College of Accountancy
4.Beacon House
Na Bhai mein to nahin jaoon ga Beacon Mein ,,, Mujhe un ke haath ek DAfa Lag chuke Hain... Actually in Multan I first got admission in Beacon House And even got 60 % discount due to my excellent marks in CAT , but there i studied for approx 1 and 1/2 months and still no classes of TAX and LAW were held ther.....
the TAX teacher told me to attend the class of TAX alongside the CAT students of Paper 10.....
And LAW was going to be taught by A teacher who even hadnt himself studied it hmself before so how come he will teach me...... Irritating.... he Principal told that its his headache ie - teachers.... but i told him thats its not his or urs headache but u r playing with my studies and left the college.... Or Bhai Tauba Tauba Kar li Hai Mein ne....
Jo dost wahan reh gaye the woh to bas rul hi gaye the kyon jis teacher ne LAW parhana tha woh 1 month baad Bhaaag giya phir na class ka pata laga na us ki koi khabar mili......
Likewise i wont risk it again......

Many ppl in Multan have a preconception that SKAN in multan is best bcaz SKAN is the best College in Lhr... Thats wrong ...
Among Beaon House and Skans no one is the best..... I know how i studeid in SKANS and how many classes were held there...
Although beeing a too rigid i would still conclude that among the different colleges in Multan Pioneer Finance Colege is the better one.... becaz they havethe most expereinced teachers as available in Multan and specially the teachers dont run away during mid of semester .....
Do u know Naveed Ansari.... he is a good teachr of Cost Accounting in Lhr SKANS.... A very famous personality and any student of SKANS will know him..... He was actually the principal of SKANS multan... he actually couldnt adjust in Multan and left Multan SKANS in mid of semester..... Frm that time till the date of paper no one taught 2.4 in SKANS... and ultimately The 2.4 batch had to come to Lhr and was here taught 2.4 by Mr Bhatti in just 4 days before papers...........

Thats what i asked them.... And they told that he just gave us concepts ... we stayed in his house .... he taught us the theory... And we attempted Few Questions but revision wasnt possible.... I wonder how will they pass this paper.... God knows....

well app logon ki discussion say to main nay ab paka plan bana liya hai kay acca kerna hai too uk sa..nahi to kerna hi nahi...ap loog keh rahay thay kay pakistan say acca karoo ya uk say its same but ager app kay teachers hi sahi na hoon then ap kesay ker sakoo gay acca...or yahi app loog baat ker rahay hoooo....

Waqas bhai dont get dis-hearted..... I was just talking abt the colleges in multan.... In Lhr everything is well and u can join SKANS or PAC or even ASCEND..... And i hope this wont be the case in Lhr... Many students are stdying ACCA here and i hope that there wont be any problem for u in Lhr......
And of course the best option will be to go abroad if u have the enough resources....

Hi Waqas!
well for deciding to join ACCA a global recognition and Professional Education. As well i have heard form many guys that ACCA qualified from UK and PAkistan has no difference but Differnce is salary .ACCA qualified from UK will give u an oppurtunity to earn 60,000 start salary in PKN.but ACCA from PKN may vary from Cand. to Cand. May startf from 20,000 PKR. Thats the only difference .
There r many reasons for earning 60,000 start salary point from UK and from PKN. i will tell u later.
