KARACHI (October 16 2003): Hub Power Company Limited approved 21 percent dividend at the annual general meeting on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the company said that the meeting, chaired by Director Taufiq Habib and attended by others including Chief Executive Vince Harris and Syed Khalid Masood, Finance Director of company, approved the annual accounts of the company.
The recommendation of the board for a 21 percent final dividend was approved by the shareholders and this approval brought the total dividend for the year 2002-03 to 54 percent.
A company spokesman said that the annual accounts were duly approved by the shareholders who expressed satisfaction over the performance of the company.
The appointment of M Yousaf Adil Saleem & Co, Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the company was also approved.
