The meeting was chaired by DCCI President HE Mr Obeid Al Tayer, and also attended by Mr Abdul Rahman Al-Mutaiwee, Director General of DCCI, and the Chamber's Deputy Director General Mr Ahmed Al Banna.

The Professional Auditors Business Group is the eighth new business group to have been set up with the legal backing of the Chamber since October last year.

The new entity reflects the Chamber's recently launched strategy to work more closely with the wider Dubai business community.

Mr Obeid Al Tayer said: β€œThe Chamber is often called upon to advise its partners in government on legislation and regulations affecting the auditor community. This new group will improve dialogue and help to represent the the sector's interests more effectively.”

DCCI members wishing to register with any of the new business groups should visit the Chamber's website at www.dcci.gov.ae
