ICMAP Students Conference 2003 will be held on Saturday October 4, 2003. The Conference will have two sessions. In the first session students will present papers.
The student adjudged for 1st Position will be awarded Best Presentation Trophy while for the 2nd & 3rd positions prizes will also be awarded. The topics for presentation will be as under:
1. Management Information System.
2. Role of Management Accountants in Information Technology.
3. Internal Audit.
4. WTO Regime and Productive Role of Management Accountants.
5. Response of Business Community to WTO Challenges.
6. Introduction of ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning).
7. Any other relevant topic of the choice of students.
Interested students may submit their papers with Mr. Muhammad Yousaf before September 20, 2003 at the latest, so we may start rehearsals of the paper presenters. The duration of the paper presentation will be 10 minutes for each presenter. All presenters will be awarded certificates of participation.
In the Second Session, competition amongst students in the following categories:
– Solo Performances
– Skits
– Singing
The students interested in the above competitions are requested to please enroll their names before September 23, 2003 to enable us to arrange rehearsals to select the best performers for the conference.
Students interested in Management Administrative Committees are requested to submit their names to Mr. Muhammad Yousaf by September 18, 2003. Students of Professional-III & Professional-IV in Management & Administrative Committees will be give, additional, “2” CPE Credit hours.
The Fee of the conference is Rs.300/-. 4 CPE Credit hours will be given to the students of Professional-III & Professional-IV. As the capacity of the hall is limited, the registration will be on first-come-first served basis. Dinner will be served at the conclusion of the Conference. Musical Programme has also been arranged. The coaching classes will be off on October 4, 2003.
