Re-export of a pesticide cargo allowed

ISLAMABAD (February 03 2003) : The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has directed all collectorates of customs to allow a chemical company to re-export agricultural pesticides to China.

However, the company would not be entitled to claim refund or duty drawback, already paid on the consignment at the time of import.

In this regard, Ministry of Commerce has communicated the approval to CBR.

According to an order issued by Commerce Ministry, it has been decided to allow the re-export of 64000 litres (320 drums) of 'Triazophos 40 percent EC W/W' imported from Sinochem Tianjin Corp, China.

The permission for re-export of the above-said item is being granted by commerce ministry.

This is subject to the condition that Agrolet Chemical Industries, Multan, would not be entitled to have any claim of refund or duty drawback etc, nor, for that matter, any adjustment in duties that have already been paid on this consignment at the time of import.
