Hi Mr. Azeem Shah.... how r u,,,, well I m interested in classical music ,,, what would u like to discuss about.... just ask about or say something about..... yaar ek baat hai sab say kehna chahoonga... yeh jo favourite song hota hai ,, it depends on mood I think.... kay circumstances kia hain... dil ka kia haal hai.... kaisa mausam hai ander ka.... so that choice change hoti rehti hai .... I think waisay if anyone is against this thinking do tell me........... babyes. n takes caress... alls ofs. yous......

yeah sure, why not music!!! i beleive it to b food for soul. strongly!!!
i like a variety of its generes. i like
pure classical raags, indian music iz also of high-quality
heavy matal songs occasionally,
and not to forget ENIGMA!!! yes, i rate it as one of the music also, specially whn u r in nostalgic modes.
i wanna ask one interesting question, tht, can u differentiate between the terms 'music' and 'song'? plz share ur views abt it.
my view is tht music n singing r two highly-related but two separate things. both can b enjoyed separately as well.
eg, u can enjoy ghazals of mehdi hasan n songs of noor jahan even if there is no background music!!! reason is tht v r listening to the song n not the music!!!
similarly, many of us enjoy spanish, or italian music a lot!!! despite the fact tht they dont understand the lyrics!!! but the fact iz tht they r enjoying the music at tht moment, not the song!!!

Hi everyone.... well Farhan u differentiated very well... bilkul aisi he kuch soch meri thie... khayal say khayal takra gaya .<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> not bad,,, bas ek difference hai wording ka... main in donon ko is tarha kahoonga kay ,, If u r visiting northern areas (for example)... ek pur fiza muqaam pay aap kharay ho thandi thandi hawa chal rahi hai that is song (hawa),,,, aur phir aap ird gird ka nazaara dekhtay ho tau woh manzar muzik hai ,,,, I think donon ka apna maza hai magar donon ek doosray kay bina adhoori hain .... thats my point of view... u r feeling rite Alia.... well I do like to read poetry... aur thoda bohat likhnay ka bhie shoaq rakhta hoon.... okies ppls.. babyes..tks..

I now feel i am in rong field lol
Like Zulfi my friend ( master mind of EP) said to me in 1998 when we are in 12th grade hey ..... i am making my band coz my bro is already in and i want u to play keyboard for me. and i replied shut up and concentrate on NCC ha ha.......but he did it not only that he took over 850 marks in FSc and got admitted in FAST lhr but he made this EP.....the zulfi bhiyaaa (thats wut we used to call him he was crazy abt metallica
But still i am the same person playing k/board and sometimes guitar so i love music.....rather i love music more that the lyrics or u can say that i like the structure more than the accesories,,,,,,good music wuteva it is ....classical or rock , jazz or country i just love good composition like '''if i love composoition of WORDS by boyzone at the same time i like " Ho Laal meri pat rakhioo 's Jholay Laals composition so its all abt composition

KAASH_ACMA thanks for responding to my request, i m glad u r into more traditional music then my other fellows who like Junoon.....apologies to junoonis but i cant stand Junoon.
lets talk about Indi Classical music, i m more into vocals and like Ustad Rashid Khan, Pandit Jasrag and my gurus Pandit Rajan & Sajan Misra. i also enjoy listening all kinds of instruments specially Sarangi by Ustad Sultan Khan and Sitar by Ustad Nishat Khan and Ustad Vilayat Khan. among my favourite raags Peelu, Desh and Bairagi Bhairav are on top. Khayal music style is the most i listen to but for a change i also like Hardcore Dhurpud by Dagar Brothers and Thumris by Sunanda Sharma or other artists.
in light music i love Muhammad Rafi, Sonu Nigam and ofcourse Lata. on pop side i think Ahmed Jahanzeb and Fuzon are doing good job and yes recently heard few songs of Ali Zafar, i think this boy has got some potential.
i read few comments about MUSIC and SONGS, some of my friends were trying to differentiate between the two, i dont see any diff. I see music as an expression which can be in the form of a Melody/Composition and when you give WORDS to it, it becomes a Song/Ghazal/Geet whatever you call it. anything that sounds good to the ear is Music whether it is classical in the form of raags or light music in the form of geets and ghazals.
XBRL i dont see any reason why we cannot listen to songs during ramadan?

acha waisay i was amazed to see ur name. It is azeem shah khan... Now how in this world can a shah (i.e a syed) be a khan or vice versa... is this SHAH a caste of urz or some family name....
