I know we're done with the stupid questions topic. But here's just one I can't figure out....

Where in the nursery rhyme does it say Humpty Dumpty is an egg?

Egg?????

I remember the rhyme like this

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the king's horses and all the king's men
couldnt pick humpty dumpty together again !

THE END

Did i forget something??? Or is the real poem larger than this??

That's my point........ Why does everybody just assume it's an egg?

well,

let me try to guess whats the answer..... hmmmmm

the last line of the poem is
<b>"couldnt put humpty dumpty together again !"</b>

(1)It seems like that the subject is so fragile that it cant be put together once broken.

(2)"Humpty Dumpty" is used for a bulky or fat person.

Keeping in mind the above two points, the most probable thing a normal person would think of is an Egg. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Maybe i am wrong<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>..... but plz do give my a thought <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
