Salam all,nice topic Azeem.well once upon a time i read a story written by Roal Dhal,named Henry Sugar.it was quite a good one and was a true story,somehow related to yoga.it tells about the powers of yoga.there was a yogi in that story who used to run a circus and he can see all te things even with his eyes closed.he asked the doctors to glue both his eyes together and then he asked the doctor to heavily bandage his eyes.the doctor did all what the yogi said and after that the yogi walked on a bzy road and show his art to all the people.so do u think that a yogi has powers like this?and is thsi possible?

I extensively practice NLP and some hypniosis (on myself alone) but plan to get a certification in NLP and practice it in the future.. got some mild interest in Palmistry... but only to the extent of knowing one's strengths and weaknesses and then building up on that...
Am interested in Reiki,,.. but needs a lot of time..now that you have brought up the topic... I think I need to practice a couple of things on some of them...

yes I do agree with Pracs.NPL is very interesting & I want to add some thing here...it is study of excelence to achieve excellence
IT gives u reason why some people learns more quickly then others...
If u go in the dept the model of NPL tells u there are only three factors that tells give u study of NPL..
Deletion ( When we selectively pay attention to certain experiences and not to others.)
Distortion When we shift our expereince of ensaory data by misrepresenting reality...
generalisation When we dra global conclusion ffrom few specific experiences
Different peoples produces different information due to these factors..So why, when two people with same stimulus do they have different responses?
In addition to NPL i m also take interest in face reading this give me further learning....to deals with the peoples..

i have never practiced NLP, once attended an introductory course....
would love to know more about it.
i often do self-hypnosis, usually relaxation exercises and to improve my (much needed) concentration span.
other than that i do a couple of tricks like lifting people with fingers, dont know which category falls in, some people say it is part of Tai Chi. once i also tried to do MIND SCANNING with a friend of mine who is a certified trainer........the results of those exercises were amazingly accurate......
used to have interest in Palmistry (yes practiced on girls only) and numerology.
attended a couple of introductory courses on REIKI and Fourth Dimension......
EHRAR please tell us more about FACE READING.

in all cases different interpretation are made for different style of these.i my self knows only about some common categories of all above mentioned face reading aspects....
It s very lenghty & braod theoritical subjects Azeem......i read these books when i was in my graduation....

In my opinion the reiki and the NLP thing is useless. The hype has been created by Dr. Moiz. I've seen the guyon TV and he tells nothing but the routine things. There is nothing that you donr know already. Guys and gals........... dont try to be in dream world. each of us should have courage to face real world.

Please share your knowledge about NLP with us.
If we already know all the things Mr Hussain teaches then why dont we practice it? Secondly if there is nothing REAL about it then whats this HYPE all about.
I have very little knowledge about the subject and as far as I have studied Mind Sciences FORCES you to think in an even stronger way by UNLOCKING your sub-concious which is supposedly more powerful.
I will appreciate your views in the light of facts....

Hi there,
I fully agree with Ophie that Mr. Moiz Husain is just selling gimmicks. His workshops are just an eyewash. He tells a ten-minute story in an hour by adding instances and history. I once attended his workshop on NLP and I swear there was nothing which I didnât know. Similarly, a friend of mine attended Mr. Husainâs speed learning workshop and he told myself that he was taught to remember names by remembering the initials! Isnât this stupidity to learn such petty things by paying a huge fee? You people donât have any idea that how much this guy is earning. He charges at least 6,650 per person and about 100 participants he draws in each workshop. Those who attend his workshops get any advantage or not, but Mr. Husain is surely earning millions of Rupees monthly. So who is benefited participants or the honourable speaker?!
