hi everbody i wanted to know the basic difference b/w ACCA n CA.plz tell me which field is more respected in pakistan among the two.and how many years does ACCa requires to complete.and what is the scope CA in western countries

<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial" size=2 id=quote>Well the basic difference in Ca and ACCA is that This is degree which u can earn from pakistan and it is designed according to accounting standards which normally used in East.Like pakistan ,india gulf etc.Its duration is nearly 7 years.Cause in Pakistan pass rate is directly proportional to the seats avaliable.Where ACCA is a different accountancy body and its duration is 2 and half years.If u can work hard u will definetly pass cause ACCA has no concern with the seats avaliable for employment.I m studing in UK.if u need any help fell free............wish u god luck

both are professional degrees...CA is superior than ACCA...
CA takes atleast 5 years to complete and ACCA takes 2 years atleast...doing any one of them means u have secured ur future...both are accepted worldwide...in Pakistan CA is the most respected qualification among all the accounting qualifications
