The role of Present govt. is becoming strong in producing inferiority thoughts in Sindh, Baluchistan and NWFP against Punjab...
Specially Sindh and NWFP has a common view point regarding the issue of Kalabagh Dam...
Present Govt. also announced that wheat from Punjab will not be distrubuted among other provinces...
Sindh is of the view that Punjab is using the part of water that belongs to Sindh...
We know very well about what has happened and still going on in WANA...
The issue of SUI has also emerged in Baluchistan....
But the govt. denies all these facts...
So, its clear that the present President should continue with his Uniform or not...
Mind it he is nothing wihtout his Uniform...

Present Government has helped a lot Pakistan in develpment of almost every sector I am in favour of Musharaf and the rest but i am strongly against opposition becuase rhey only want to stop Musharraf and the team from doing good work.
First they put up the matter of LFO and now they are against Mushrraf's uniform they dont want to do anything by themselves niehter they would allow others to do it !!
I must say if this team stays for about 5 to 10 more years than i am pretty certain that we would be able to easily compare ourself with our neighbours and perhaps attain an edge over them !!
The difference between dreams and accomplishment is purly desire
Well .......... I wish we had genuine politicians ........ right now politicians deserve the president that they have ........ we'll have to accept a uniformed president because majority of politicians have voted in favor of this ........ hehehehehehehe ..... it is a joke in democracy ....... but the fact is fact ........ In my opinion politics will never be able to grow roots here in Pakistan ....... we are not educated enough for democracy ........ and being a muslim, I dont even believe in democracy ........ which of your first four khalifa was chosen in a democratic style ........ nobody ..........

5 to 10 years !! Sheesh ! Although, I am also a supporter of the present govt but I strongly disagree that it should remain in power for the next 10 years! My support for Musharaf's govt is based on the sole reason that we dont have a better alternative, "at the present moment". But having a military (or even a civil) rule continously for 15 years isnt a very good option in my opinion. We have already experimented with 10 & 11 years of military rule in this country. What makes u think that another 15 years of military rule will make any significant change?
Analyse the history of Pakistan & u will find out that the military has ruled "more years" than the civil govt in the past 57 years. But why havent we progressed to developed country then ? If u remember, in the time of Ayub, the world economists used to say that Pakistan has finally found a way out of poverty. But if that was so, than why are we still where we started?
What people fail to realise is that the "opposition" is very essential for the well being of a country. Look at the west & other developed countries. Why do their leaders behave ? Its primarily becoz the "opposition" & the "media" there is significantly strong to keep the ruling party under strong check.
Mark my Words. No "NAtIOnal Security Council" with a general in it is ever going to keep any government under check. Its the people & the opposition who keep the government under check. If the rulers know that if they abuse their powers, the "AWAM" is going to come out on the streets to beat them, they never would do so in the first place.
This is why, I call our nation a DEAD NATION. We just want someone else to come in & bring our house in order. But we wont go out on the street to protest against violation of our rights & what we beleive is right.
So my friend, dont blame the opposition. They are just doing their job by critisizing govts every action. Thats what an "opposition" is supposed to do. To provide us with critisizm. Its UR JOB (an average citizen) to take both the govt's viewpoint & the oppositions viewpoint & decide for urself what is right. And if the govt's wrong, its ur obligation to come out on the street to protest about it. Or alternatively, use the voting process to kick such a govt out of power. Thats what makes great countries & great democracies. But sadly, here in Pakistan we dont vote on these basis. We vote on the basis of cast, race & staunch pre-historic illiterate views.
Hence, you see giving any govt a free hand for another 10 years isnt a good idea. The govt should always be afraid that if it does anything wrong, it will be kicked out the next day. Thats how a government remains "in check" & thats hows govts try to perform well.

YES, Avgjoe..No discrimination that, there is no alternative at present but my beloved friend tell me who is fit for govt. in Future.? As u all know that Muslim League(nawaz group), & PPP Group, what they are doing now & what they have done in past. In my point of view they are rejectable in future to take over a Govt., right.? As far as Muttahida Majlis-e-amal(MMA) is concerned, i think they are not able to run the Govt. because there are many uncountable reasons & uncertainities(Joe, think in a broader sense like ******).U know what, in the era of 1990s there is no such great development and promotional works was done in democracy, just to pick in a pocket work was made(I am talking about NAWAZ & PPP group).So tel me who is fit in future.?
All in All, my Vote is in favour of Musharraf's Govt. they all are doing a good job & we can see that what kind of works are being done by this Govt. Now Uniform Status, so it is necessary for the sake of country,if u see on other aspects then thses uniformity should remain on the hand of President, powers, responsibilities and other areas are the basic need of President for running the Govt. and if they withdraw his uniform status then perhaps it would be more difficult to run the Govt. U know what, This is the first President in the pak history who has done many Country's visit..why ..?? because he want to make a good corporate, economic, financial image all over the world, he is mainly focusing on pakistan external policies & procedures. He want to appear pakistan on world map practicaly not just on paper. He introduced himself Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz when the economic system of PAK has been quite low and the Reserve situation is totally damaged. So dear tell me truly that Can MMA do this job ..??
So, There is no Substitute, we have to rely on the present Govt. again in 2007 election & Hope that this Govt. would be done positive actions.
