I am sorry if I offended you. I am not objecting any of your act. I have been member of this forume almost for the last 6 months but I rarely post. I believe most of you are students. I regularly visit this website, study your discussions and enjoy it. You can use this forume either to learn and inspire or wasting time on unfortunate topic I read only a couple of days before. I just want you to avoid this.

Are you serious ophie? And what's with this senior junior thing? You've been a member of this forum far too long not to understand that there arent any seniors and juniors on the board. And why in god's name do you want to have a "derh eent ki masjid" of your own? Pray tell us who would be part of such an exclusive group. I certainly wouldnt want to be one!

Everbody should understand that the ppl who are so concerned with this senior junior thingy are destroying the fabric and goes totally against the spirit of this forum. Yes, there are some oldies who try to showoff their so-called seniority which they ofcourse shouldnt, but there are also some juniors who are obsessed with becoming so-called seniors (you ppl all know what i am talking about).

You want to know why this forum was created?

It was created to end the communication gap which exists between the professionals (called seniors of the industry) and the students (juniors) which so horribly exists in the accountancy profession in our country. The artificial gap which exists today in our CA firms was created by some very insecure ppl who wanted to hold on to their managerships and partnerships and their so-called seniority, so that the juniors one day might not take over their petty positions.

If any of you are members of ICAP, you ppl all must know how hard it is to get your voice heard among the hallowed halls of ICAP and in among the firms. In this profession, one just can't say anything against their firms or against ICAP/ICMAP without losing their jobs/memberships. This forum was also created to provide a place where everbody can talk freely about issues concerning us all without losing our livelyhoods.

Now what purpose would a private area serve? Absolutely nothing!

Btw... whoever says that this forum is for professionals only or students only is dead wrong. Its for everybody... men and women, professional and student, accountant and non-accountant... EVERYBODY!

My advice to all, newbies and oldies, pros and students is to forget this senior-junior thing, help out everbody, give respect to everybody, so that you get respect and talk on whatever topic you like while remaining within the boundaries of decency.

Whatever you say GuyBrush ........... I have so much respect for you senior folks .......... This discussion is over as far as I am concerned ........

In the forum of the existentialist there are many questions that need answering.Why does the forum exist? What is right and what is wrong? Who decides what is right and what is wrong? GuyBrush took the initiative and tried to answer these perplexing questions. And i totally agree with him. We should leave these type of issues and i hope that This thread wont attract any further posts.

I already recommended the members to stop the Personality Clashes but it seems that u arent willing to follow this Best practice.

I generally try to avoid being rude to individuals Mr.Ophie but I have to say that I find you unpleasant, pedantic and deeply chauvinistic. I also think that you are deliberately distorting my views.
It is you, and nobody else, that is, by the words you use, attempting to turn this into a Juniors vs Seniors issue. I think the more objective contributors to this forum will understand the impression you are trying to create.

And we should Not we forget that ur This thread started this recent debate. Personally I found this topic in no way constructive and simply un-required as it only stood to cause trouble.

My God .......... I do need a dictionary ..... My dear "Minno" .... I never wanted to make an impression ....... I express what I feel ..... I never had no problem with sensible guys and all of the membrs who have been around for reasonable time will agree with me. Not all of my posts have been controvercial ..... So your post however impressive with vocabulary, yet didnt make any point ..... Now I am getting sick of using "shift+F7" on M.S word.

I am glad that my comments have actually created some debate. Can I just point out that I am opposed to those who seek to shout down people why say difficult things and I am emphatically NOT in favour of shutting anything down. Freedom of speech is something that should be protected.

What ever the reason, cause, or logic, me not posting u reply will be a shame because it will contribute to some hard feelings being left unresolved which will grow, fester, and one day burst. It also gives a very bleak outlook for the future conversations on here. If misunderstandings are left unresolved and everyone has a chip on their shoulder against some then they will take a dig every chance they get on future postings. There is already way to much of that now. Communication is the key to any relationship Virtual or other wise. If we can't talk out our differences and understand each other better, where is that going to lead us?
There are several people on here that I already feel some what close to, but I know there will be something sometime come up with them that I won't understand and might disagree with, or visa versa. I hate to think those relationships could be destroyed just because we donât understand that one thing and are unable to discuss it.

There is Absolutely no need for such offensive and childish remarks as calling someone who has an opposing view to your own as a 'minnow'.
I don't actually believe for one moment though that Ophie doesn't already know this, and by responding further would only encourage his "troll-like" activities.

Likewise Mr Ophie Although u seem to be nice and popular member of this forum but probably u choosed a wrong Person to Argue with. Just lets try to leave this feeling unresolved and try to turn this conflict into a constructive One. And Plz dont suspect that i will post again in this thread.

May we also remind you that you were once already kicked off the board in the past, so please stay within the boundaries of decency and maintain a professional attitude on the board.
