AoA,
You don't have to be confused anymore. The procedure is very much simple. There are two ways to qualify for CA.

way 1
CAT ( certified accounting technician ) 1 year
ACCA (association of certified chartered accountants ) 2 years
CA ( chartered accountant ) 3 years
total 6 years

way 2
CA (icap) 6 years

CAT uk has 3 levels .
level A
level B
level C
(duration 1 year )

ACCA uk has 3 parts and one core examination
Part 1 (exempt for CAT qualified students )
Part 2
Part 3
and core ...

CA (icap) has
Foundation( module A ,B)
Intermediate( module C ,D)
Final papers (module E ,F)
((((modules A,B,C,D have exemption for ACCA students)))

now if u want to go for CAT ,ACCA and CA its ok u can do it in 6 years .As mentioned above you only have to go for internship after ACCA to qualify for CA .I hope u did understand me ...) lol but if u did't its ok i am a CAT student .New in this field ...

I recommend you following sites
www.skans.edu.pk
www.accaglobal.com
www.icap.com

there is a onother way as well to get CA qulifation.

AAT 1.5 (one and half) year for AAT

2 years for CA

but there is just one base for AAT which is in Karachi.

if you can AAT then is OK otherwise CAT route is also good

Arshid

Aslam o Alaikam, Zeeshan

Don’t worry nothing is hard friend 'success don’t come to you- you go for success'. If you would work hard then you'll pass defiantly. I agree with Asrar but I think way 1 is best, even after completion of ACCA you can get Bsc (hon) degree as well from Oxford Brooks (London) university.

After completion of ACCA you need to do just one Project (search and analysis project) to get the Bsc (hon) in applied accounting degree.
