I am a student at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At this moment I am conducting research about the profitability of firms which are using Islamic Corporate Finance and whose stocks are traded on the stockmarket (no matter which one). Is there anyone who can help me find companies which meet these requirements? Please send me an email if you do.

Thanks, kindest regards,
Ellemieke

Sorry I just read this today,, hope this will still help you

Ellemieke, you may want to check out the following Banks which follow ''Islamic banking''. I recently worked for a Bank group in Dubai, who converted one of their banks to an Islamic bank. Any ways ''Islamic banks'' are doing better in the Persian Gulf, with better share values and good dividend rates. I think part of that may be becasue of the substantial ''un tapped'' market. This may interest you but almost all Multi national banks in the Gulf now have their own ''Islamic banking services'', these include HSBC, Citi Bank, Standard Chartered,.. etc.
