CERTIFICATE PROGRAM EFFECTIVE BRANCH MANAGEMENT
DURATION & SCHEDULE 3-Month (March 27 to June 23, 2006)
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (300 PM - 600 PM)
TARGET GROUP Existing and potential "Branch Managers"
CONCURRENT AT Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar
GROUP SIZE A group of 25 to 30 participants from banks.
PRE-REQUISITE Minimum qualification Graduation
EXPERIENCE 5 years (or more) branch/banking experience
CONTENTS 10 Modules covering knowledge, skills and attitude desirable for the person operating as CEO of the branch.
ALLOCATED TIME 120 Credit Hours
METHODOLOGY A combination of class room instructions, case studies, group work, presentations, role playing, videos, brain storming and assignments.
FACULTY Team of quality lead trainers, practicing professionals and academia.
GUEST SPEAKERS Prominent and successful industry leaders to share their experience and knowledge.
TERMINAL ACHIEVEMENT Every participant will be required to develop a business plan for his/her branch or a detailed set of recommendations for improvements.
TESTING METHODOLOGY On completion of each month of study a test would be conducted to ascertain the progress and effectiveness of the program. Each test will carry 20% weightage in overall assessment. A comprehensive test will be organized at the end of the program with 40% weightage. The terminal paper or report will carry 20% weightage.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT A "Program Officer" would be designated for this course who will independently steer the program under the continuous guidance from IBP management.
CERTIFICATE AWARDS Those qualifying through the testing mechanism will be eligible to receive Certificates and Awards at the annual function of the IBP.
COURSE REGISTERATION FEE (TOTAL) All inclusive cost for training, mentoring, training material, stationary, visits, testing, certification and refreshment Rs 25,000/- per participant.
