Are showbiz stars earning more than CA's & ACCA's???
Some of my friends are saying that showbiz is more better profession than Chartered Accountancy, is one becomes successful.
He said that Film Star Shan takes 5 million for an ad & earns more than 20 million from movies in a year.
TV actors take good damn money for a drama serial. Ahsan Khan's this year income amounted to 95 lakh rupees. I read this in a newspaper. Sadia Imam earned so much money in probably 6 years that she built a big house in Karachi & have a brand new car. Now she is planning to open boutique franchises all over Pakistan & produce dramas.
Humayun Saeed has extended its boutique franchises till Middle East & London & produces dramas & films all on the basis of showbiz income. (Producing a good drama can cost approx 20 million rupees)
Ali Zafar earned 75 lakh from his first album only from royalty, not to mention income from concerts.
Not to talk about bollywood stars. John Abraham earned 12 crore rupees this year.
But only if some one becomes succesful in this profession.

Money is not the only criterion for comparison there is so many other
matters/things to be considered about a profession

I think that a "CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT" is much more respectable person & also possesses more positive reputation than that of any film/showbiz star(s).
But it would be an exceptional case/situation, where a "CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT" is itself a film/showbiz star. By the way, does anyone know any chartered accountant, who is also a showbiz/film star?

I heard TV Actor Farhan Ali Agha saying in PTV Nite time transmission that he is a Chartered Accountant & now a days working full time in acting profession.
Definitely a CA has respect of being an educated person & belonging from a respectable profession. Most actors from TV today are from educated & well respected families.

money is not jz criterion Respect counts more. and in ur comparison stats of beggers hav large numbers of figures. so tell me now whether someone can leave its noble profession 4 begging??????????????

AOA, sab se bari baat ye hai dear members .. k showbiz ki islam mein koi ijazat nahee.. jab k CAs halaal ki khaatay hein .. jo k sab se bari baat hai ... doosra unki izzat bhi hoti hai ..jab k filmstars ki koi izzat nahee sab jhoot aur dikhaawa hai .. khud models tak ye baat kehtii hein k showbiz sirf bahar se dekhnay mein acha lagta hai ander se bhiyaanak hai ye sab is liye CA is much much better than showbiz pplz D. Aaj kal in modern educated families showbiz career (with the exception of films) is not considered bad or of low respect. It may not be the case in uneducated, tang nazar families.
But its also right that money is not everything. There are other things to appreciate also. Actual respect is of education, whether its accoutnting or anyother.

A Chartered Accountant has the repect that no other profession has.
Its wrong to compare an highly respected profession & an low level profession.

Well, I dont think thats the case. Actors & actresses working on satellitte chnnels like GEO, ARY, HUM etc. like Sadia Imam, Humayun Saeed & Saira Kazmi which were qouted by akifa also aren't considered less respected. If a CA comes somewhere where they are also sitting, then their respect wont be less than CA.
It is just a matter of professions. No profession is bad. Its just worng to compare professions like this.

lol Usman Arshad.. makhanchor... jis cheez ko tum tangnazarii keh rahay ho wo sharm o hayya hai ya ghairat hai... agar wo na rahi to west aur east mein koi faraq nahee rahay ga understand! aur rahi baat showbiz k profession ki.. to is profession pe laakhon croron laanat... kabhi apni maa behan ko kabhi kisi ki biwi to kabhi kisi ki mehbooba bannay dekhna pasand karoge ? wo bhi poori dunia mein dekhnay k layaq.. lolzzzzzzzzzzzz... ofcourse not... ye profession totally islam k khilaaf hai meri jaan ) isliye ye ghalat hai .. respect to kuch nahee inki.. cuz aik heroine se koi shaadi nahee karna chahay ga bcoz of her character. samething goes with the hero )

i said that sirf tangnazar aur uneducated families kay log hi is profession ko ghalat samajhte hain. Koi filmi heroin say shaadi nahin karna chahay ga laikin dramas ki actors say jaisay uzma gillani, saba hameed, bushra ansari ki na sirf shadi hoi bulka achi chal bhi rahi hai. aur Sameena irzada aur Samina Ahmed & there are more to name. do you say that these are bad women. un say sharif respected logoon nay marriages kee theen aur woh abhi bhi repect ki hamil hain.

& Sahira Kazmi??? These are all ver well respected women aur us ki shaadi bhi hoi aur abhi bhi hai aur us ki shaadi intehai repected family main hoi thee. Same with Zaheen tahira, marina khan, shahnaz sheikh & the list goes. what about shugafta aijaz & another women whose name abhi yaad nahin aa raha magar woh aaj kal Sind Public Service Commission ki chairperson hai shayd.
and nadia khan in new ones, she is married to a repectable family in UAE... same is with other new ones. you cant say that maria wati & sadia imam & humayun saeed & others ka talaq ghalat gharanoon say hai.
If you still say these women bad & their husbandss & families disrespected, low level aur mashray kay ghalat gharanay then I can only say Chaand ka thooka moun par aata hai.
