A friends plan to become a charterd accountant, and he was wondering if he should do B.Sc Accounting and finance from a reputed university first. Would this have positive affects on his career? but the big question he has is would he get exemptions from the courses required to become a CA

if not, wht is the best way to go about becoming a CA

he has basically no info, so he needs any help he can get, he is currently finishing his A levels from The lyceum karachi
I dont think that he would get any exemptions on the basis of bsc acc/finance for ca but he would get exemptions from acca. ithink till part 2 (but im not sure, check it out from acca website www.accaglobal.com).

If he's gonna complete ca, there would be almost no help in his career from bsc. In addition ca is equal to mcom according to the higher education commission.
