Why do you want practical experience of auditing, as you are just into your BCom part I, i think no firm is gonna take you as trainee student,
I ll advise you personally, first of all concentrate on your studies, if u want to do ACCA then join the firm when you are at least Finalist.

Yes i know some one will ask me about that why i want Practicale exposer the answer is that i want to prepare for the future and in future i will Do ACCA but this will make my experiance and after ACCA experiance amount will be 2 much 4 me so then i can go UK/ abroad .
my friends are also in firm they are just i.com 1st year pass and the start this for the sake of there future

first of all i would like to tell you, you are not gonna get articleship in top five until you have stronggggggggggg pawwa, mean, ur uncle is the partner of big five.
in which city you are looking for articleship ?????
furthermore, dear, who told you that if u join the firm right now, then it would be helpful for you, yes of course you will learn something, but dear you will not be able to concentrate on your Bcom,
as if u look at the CA students they usually get articleship when they are CA inter or BCom, so i ll advise forget about the articleship at the moment and just concentrate on your studies, after qualifying the certificate stage of your ACCA then go for articleship,

I think the person has been misunderstood... he just wanna have some kind of internship and not articleship.
.. ofcourse it is advisable that he should do articleship to pursue CA but I think he does not want to... (ofcourse I wish he would <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>)
... I agree u have to have a solid jack to enter the top 4/5 even for internship but I think there is a need that firms should be more flexible and allow for internships.
.... who knows, ppl from IBA/LUMS may some day add some color to our boring profession.. )

I want to ask u some thing that is some one who do CAT what is his social value i mean he is just I.com because when any body inter in CAT there is no formal qualification of Accounts or Bussiness studies
so i will say that CAT = I.com
and any body who DO cat he can do intrnship in ca firm i m not asking in top 5 i know A.F.Furgoson will not take me bcoz im not on there standerd i m not CA inter i know top 5 will not take me i had not use any word of that i m expecting top 5 CA firm why u pplz are saying that and i after my I.com visited 2 mounth in KESC there i understand how CA made there finincal reports then on the net and some international auther and i read (INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING STANDERD )IAS
so why not i can do intership i will concentrate my B.com but if i engage me in this i think i will prepare my self for future so plz who have positive thinking they reply me

I didnt mean to hurt you, I told you the actual position in the market, and I advised you sincerely like my younger brother, if u want to join then simply go to ICAP and purchase the ICAP directory, even you can download it from the icap site, following is the link to download the PDF file of ICAP directory,

In the directory you will find the list all the Chartered Accountant firms, now start visiting the firms one by one, you will definately get the internship in any firm.
finally I ll suggest you not to get internship in any firm as in my opinion you will be wasting your time. and you will come to know later that whatever I said was true.
As if u want to learn something in a CA firm, you must spend at least 3 years, If u look at the period of articleship it is 4 years, and ICAP requires 4 years practical training for its students. and you know their must be some reason behind that.
