The best thing is to visit the websites of accountancy firms and you will find loads of ideas. But Please please, when you see the websites of pakistani firms, you need a magnifying glass to read the words, dont follow that. I think they are under the impression that it saves money to squeeze everything on one page.

Thanks

First and foremost advice

get a professional to make you a website. The problem with most of our firms is that they think themselves competent enough to do the web development work themselves, which in reality, they are not. As a result, they make a fool of themselves and their firms on the web.

Jis ka kaam, ussi ku saajhe...

Hi Muqtader

During the IT boom around 3 years ago (when I was young, free and single), I sat on the board of directors of an IT company. Once we had a client he asked for a website, we told him something to the tune of £10,000 cost. He asked how would you develope well we will develope to the best of our understanding of your requirements, upload it and you ask us for amendmentsif necessary, we told him. The client was a real high flyer, he went to another company in the city, they asked for £250,000+ for the same website. I met him later on, asked him how his project was going. he told me something, which was real Gold. He said, well the guys (the other company) said, we will only do one page for you and upload it on for your perusal (home page) it will have all the links, but the links wont work unless you approve the opening page (consider it as GUI-graphical user interface). once you apporved GUI, we will then develope the second page for your review and link it with GUI and once we have developed and loaded all pages, the site will be complete and in the end we will implement the back end databases. I think its a real class strategy to develope comlicated websites.

do you agree?

Well u failed to mention it in your earlier question moxtor or you wouldve got the appropriate answer.

Anyways, ICAPs COE regarding marketing by firms applies to websites too. The things which you can't do in other media, you cant do em here either. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
