Can any one recommend an off the shelf accounting software, which should auto generate the codes for accounts and should have four level accounting along with multiple company option (password protected)and multiple user.
I have tried the trial version of Peachtree 2006 but it does not fulfill my requirements.

Did you ever tried QuickBooks???I guess you should go ahead.

I also Suggest you to check QuickBooks. I think QuickBooks can meet all your requirements which you mentioned above.
