[8D]I want to know, What is IFRS?, qualification to get admission in this course and what is/are institute/s in Delhi region. What will be cost of this course?

IFRS stands for International Financial Reporting Standards. In fact this is revised version of International Accounting Standards (IAS, which requires more disclosure requirement and ranationale accounting treatments. There is no specific institute for that. Only the porfessional bodies like Institute of Chartered Accountants/Institute of Cost and Management Accountants and Universities which impart degrees in Accountancy can render IFRS education. India and Pakistan had their own Accounting standards but as part of drive to standarization of accounting profession in the world, Pakistan has adopted IFRS in 2008 and India is going to adopt them in 2010 (Perhaps, Canada will adopt from Jan. 01, 2011 and US from 2013.
