Need a little biti of advice - Nauman - 12-09-2004 Hello everyone. I am MFC 8 student just passed Module A in first attempt the reason for that was that I had studied Economics in A levels so I just sailed through. Anyways now I am in module B and finding it a little tough, Mohommad Irshad recomended this new law book for law in module B http//www.accountancy.com.pk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1486 in this topic so Ill try and get this. The tough part is Accounting, our teacher is worse he doesnt care if we understand or not, he is just running away with the syllabus saying he has to finish the syllabus by 20th Jan ie when sendups begin. Any of you got any suggestions on how I should go about tackling accounting. Thanks Regards Nauman-ul-Haq Nauman-ul-Haq - mobin - 12-09-2004 Hi Nauman I must agree with u teachers do rush when it comes to module B's accounting because the course is huge i my self experience this fact. When i was in module B i follow two books , writers name was Shukla Maheshwaree These books realy help me alot because they have many practice question and illustration My advice to u is that dont blame ur teacher because u have to do a lot of hardwork of ur own so practice as much as u can !! The difference between dreams and accomplishment is purly desire - Mahtab - 12-09-2004 AOA Nauman If you are New to Accounting Please read initial Books on Accounting as Books of Accounting recommended for O Levels and Intermediate Commerce & Diploma in Business Adminstration etc. First Concepts should be Clear by Books,IAS(IFRS),Teachers etc.then solve Exercises. You can also post in the student forum what you are unclear about here so many good students are participating in the forum Inshah-Allah they will reply to you queries. Waiting for you queries. Regards Mahtab - yasirpervaiz - 12-09-2004 Assalam o Alaikum , Like the senoirs already told u that lots of lots of participation is on ur side ,,, donn ever blame the teachers at any stage .... like u do have toooo much of topics to be covered nearly 20 in MOD B's Acc. , i knoe its really really tough .... but u have to do things on ur behalf as well . Now to b precise there r 2 cases as 1 if u r starter then use frank wood vol 1 and mukher jee 2 if u r a reviser then use shukla+grewal and mukherjee all u need is sheer and mere practice,,,,, - Sarfaraz - 12-10-2004 AOA yaar first of all study Frank Wood's Business Accounting PArt 1 and then Modern Accountancy by Mukhergee aur sab se ziada barh ke past papers solved by PAC INSHALLAH first attempt main niklo ge meri tarah ![]() There is a will.
