Assalam o Alaikum Friends
I am an ACMA Pakistan and currently doing job in an organization on contract with decent salary. However job not being secure and I willing to continue my studies I am greatly interested in doing CA. I believe CA-Inter will be exempt for me but I want to know about what I am required to do for adopting this new career????

Anxiosly waiting for replies.

Dear Nasir,
as your are ACMA therefore you will have to appear in Module E and F of ICAP, and I think you will have to complete articleship of 3 years with a CA firm, (I m not sure about the articleship)
for this purpose, go to ICAP, and get the exemption form, pay the required fee, submit the form alongwith the neccesary documents, then you will get the exemption letter within one or two months, all the relevant details will be mentioned in the letter, that letter itself guide you the procedure of becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Take care.

Yes you will have to be articled for three years with a CA firm. I belive you will be able to sit for module E in the second year of your articles.
