I can't stand it when Muslims are trying to be politically correct (the Pakis, especially have a tendancy to do that.) Ali, your arguments are very impressive because you site all your sources. But the people here seem to be the "moderate Muslims" the enemies of Islam are wishing us to be.

As far as this clown (Aamer Liaqat) is concerned, ofcourse he is popular. The state of the Muslims right now is such that they are impressed with any idiot who is handed a mic and given airtime.

I did not really know about this guy because I live in NY, but I recently saw him on GEO, and was nauseated by his phony act. Unfortunately, the Muslims in Pakistan are so conditioned to accept whatever is stuffed down their throat, that it is frustrating sometimes.

By the way, I have managed to stick to the subject so nobody better whine.

1) I have already given the explanation for the comment on Pakistan being turned into Turkey...at the hands of "people like" Dr. aamir & General Pervaiz...Please REFER to tht in earlier posts. And you'll know "why he ll & how he ll do it". "he doesn't need to do this it has already b done people like u" CAN U PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW I HAVE bEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR TURNING PAKISTAN INTO TURKEY ?

2) I dont understand you "& if u r so much strong believers of islam then u ve no right to talk about any person in such manner." So u are banishing all strong beleivers of Islam from condemning him ? May I ask why ? Is he the next prophet ? Dont I have FREEDOM OF SPEECH ! ...or will u throw me into prison for passing remarks about ur DEAR DR. !

3) "u talk about a such person who has more knowledge aobut the islam."....OK ALL RITE !! SO NOW I M SUPPOSED TO BLINDLY FOLLOW WHATEVER HE SAYS ? haan ? Is he the MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE !! person on earth over Islam ? IS he a PROPHET !! whom I am required to follow blindly ?

Nooo.....I didnt watch ur dear Dr.'s "DUA" on 27th ramazan. But I have no regrets...as the dear dr. was kind enough to give a "suprise" to his audience yesterday...by showing the "DUA"..again...on 730 pm....May I ask what was so special about that DUA ? Even the real IMAM-e-KAABA ...didnt manage to do that !....he "failed" to cry "all the time" when he was praying after Khatm-ul-Quran, Unlike ur Dr. aamir who did tht with flying colors !

If the dear Dr. was really praying from his heart, may I know what he was doing on a TV screen on such a Holy nite? Was he trying to teach us HOW TO PRAY TO OUR GOD ? Correct me if I m wrong, but isnt DUA supposed to be a private connection between an individual & GOD ? If the dear Dr. was really praying with complete devotion, then can u explain why he bothered to...have a makeup session.....dressup in extravagant clothes....and come on live TV facing 30000 W light bulbs to pray ?

And fine, that done....what was the PORPUSE of repeating that DUA on friday yesterday ? Make more bucks ?

And tell me, what benefit did u get from watching that DUA ? Did u get lots of SAWAB ??? or u learned how to pray to GOD....from someone who got an AWARD from GOD for outstanding praying ? Did u for a sec think that u just wasted ur entire time...sitting infront of a TV screen on such a Holy nite ?

Dr Aamir is married to Bushra aamir, who has recently became the host of another Geo programme...."Chotee see Naikee" or sthg. Just turn on Geo....and sit back....U'll be able to watch her or Dr. aamir....sooner or later ! It seems to me that both of them have HIJACKED the channel or sthg.

By the way, ur Dr. with all his Islamic knowledge wasnt able to tell his own wife..not to wear sleeve less clothes on one instance, and shalwar kamiz's with really short kameezes ?

What do u say abt that?

Guys, why don't we just accept that THE GUY IS ON A TELEVISION SHOW !!! Of course he is going to try to attract viewers by using showman ship.

What we should see is what the impact of show is on society. I'm surprised nobody here has once mentioned the Aalims that are on the show who are actually the main aspect of the show. Besides, I don't think that anybosy here is qualified enough to challange their knowledge.

So instead of criticising a person for what he wears or how he talks and whether his voice was amplified on so and so day, if we look at WHAT ACTUALLY GOES ON IN THE SHOW, we would see that it does serve a good purpose, that is clarifying a lot of misconceptions about religion that the people have.

it means Dr. have to pursuade youngsters towards ISLAM in a modernize way ... wearing a good cloths like KURTA ...polishing JEL .. u mean it is right to bring youngsters in ISLAM ...what a stupid thinking ... u know ..In order to make a good & attractive programe, all of the team of AALIM online find out the selected AHADEES ...& AAYAAT (i am not talking abt AALIM.. i am talking abt DR. & his team members) this is really not true.and i think u need to read out again the recent previous three paste of AVG-JOE and i must say that if a person r a real lover of islam . who will not hesitate to hear MUSLIM PRIEST speech .. Well, I sincerely apologise if you were offended by my reply. If you read my previous posts you can see that I was one of the people supporting the doctor.

Anyway, what I meant by the knowing him personally comment was since you mentioned him being "Ainay ki tarah saaf". How can you judge a person's character by watching a TV show!! for god's sake!!

Of course, there are good and bad aspects to everybody's personality. I don't think that there's anything wrong with putting on gel and wearing nice clothes. But maybe he could convince his wife to follow Islam a little more... as we say in Urdu "Chiragh talay andhera".

By the way if anybody wants to see a real scholar who can attract youth, go watch Dr. Zakir Nayak.

Actually we all are jealous of his fantastic appearance and good looking personality, If we look at all the previous posts, we will find the discussions and criticizms on his physical appearance only, but i was unable to see any post relating to any wrong saying by him.
just bcaz no body hears what he says,

As i said earlier, stop following the mulllllaaaaaaaassssss, who dont know A B C of Islam even, they are just spreading the hatred among the muslims and they have made Islam more critical and complex.

Look at the previous posts, if any non muslim will go through these posts he will have the following opinions about Islam that In Islam

1.wearing good cloths like kurta etc. is strictly prohibited.
2.Receiting naat using the echo speakers is strictly prohibited.
3.Use of gel is also strictly prohibited.

but if he will visit any of the muslim country, he must be in a shocking position that "NO MUSLIM COUNTRY" is following Islam.
