ICAP Announces its passing criteria - Ahmadraza - 11-02-2004
Aslam-O-Alaikum
I just want to ask about the Icap's decision about its passing criteria which has been announced <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> on Saturday, October 30, 2004 in its 43 AGM. Many people are saying that it is not a good decision keeping in view the pattern of the papers <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>, while the others thought that it is a good decision <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>, WhAt dO yOu ThInK <img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hay,
We dont know about the ICAP's decision of disclosing it's passing criteria. From where u got this information? As ICAP has niether declared it on it's website nor the RAETs are aware of it.
If you got this critical information from authentic source, then please tell us about ICAP's decision. Anyway tommorow is the result, we will be soon intimated about the passing criteria.

Ali Akber , here's your answer.
ICAP has annnounced it's passing citeria, which I saw on the Oct 31, 2004 in Dawn newspaper (but remember that it's in the business section NOT education one). According to the news the passing marks for ICAP exams have been fixed at 50%. As ICAP has previously held the policy of non-disclosure of passing marks, it is quite uncertian that what would be the impact of this to the students.

before that the students of CA were fighting to get 80% or 90% (whatever), but now everybody will be fighting for 50%........... who's gonna challenge ICAP that he did 100 % paper and got only 40% marks,
