ACCA costs... I don't know the current fee rates,.. but in my time I paid for the whole thing for PKR 50,000 - 60,000 (I hardly sat for any tution !) so you need to add tution and books (used a lot of hand outs and photocopies, since we didn't have any books published in Pakistan in the beginning back then)

I think it should come to around PKR 100,000 inclusive of books and tution...

YAAR simply another competition between the cost of ACCA & CA inter
wel in Karachi, the fee per subject of ACCA is almost 5000 to 6000 rupees if u consider the grand total then approximately

SUBJECT FEES 6000 by 14 subjects 84000
examination fees
part one 40 pound by 3 papers 120 by 107=12840
part two 48 pound by 6 papers 288 by 107=30816
part three 56 pound by 5 papers 280 by 107=29960
initial subscription fee 57 pound by 107=6099
books and other materials approx.= 8500

GRAND TOTAL 172,000 (rounded to the nearest)
& this ideal amount are those students who are able to pass in first attempt in all paperz.

hmmmmmmmm it is too costly to do ACCA then CA inter ... but remember one thing IT IS GLOBALY RECOGNIZED QUALIFICATION .

I think amount should not be considered in a PROFESSIOANAL qualification we all are aware that after achieving that great qualification we will obtain benefit whole of the life .

What about Actuarial Qualifications <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.

Also, cable was trading last on 110, so there is a risk element in calculating CBA <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.

whn i first read the topic..i thought u r trying to differenciate in between COST ACCOUNTING of both..
but then i realised tht its a stupid topic

Never seek advice from a Chartered Accountant. They are trained to find problems not solutions.
