Dangerous Papers..... - Muhammad Adnan Arshad - 12-02-2004

According to the past experiences/research, it is considered that the following papers in each module are extremely dangerous

CA-FOUNDATION
Module-A Paper<A3> INTRODUCTION TO ECONOMICS & FINANCE
Module-B Paper<B5> MERCANTILE LAW
CA-INTERMEDIATE
Module-C Paper<C9> BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS & BEHAVIORAL STUDIES
Module-D Paper<D13> INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-2
CA-FINAL
Module-E Paper<E15> ADVANCED FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL REPORTING
Module F Paper<F19> BUSINESS FINANCE DECISIONS

Am I right? If so, please inform or comment on this topic also & give your suggestions. Imagine !! If ICAP revise its subjects setting & makes a single module of the above written first four papers.

I think at Module E level the now most dangerous paper is Business Management and at Module F level it's Information Technology, audit and control.
I m always wonder y i cap always emphasize subjects like this. I don't say these subjects are not important but y concentrating on these subjects, students lose their focus on main subjects like Reporting, BFD, Corporate Laws and advance Taxation.
THis is my personal experience in these two years that most students are always worried about the above mentioned subjects instead of worrying about their core professional subjects.
Do u think ICAP is doing the right thing?

everything can be dangerous if u r not prepared for it

Two rules of happy living

1. The ability to experience Everything.
2. Be able to create an effect that can be easily experienced by others.

Look the other way round

Nothing is dangerous if you are prepared for it!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

hi maani !
insisting to include the paper C-8 TAXATION ...... there is some logic behind it. there is some sorrow background......

I want to quote the words of "Mirza Munawar Hussain"(B.Com,APA,FICS,ACMA,ITP)---the famous author of books on taxation, company law etc about the paper of taxation C-8 examined in the Autumn, 2004 attempt of ICAP.

"" Those who have not passed the taxation paper of ICAP tested in the very previous attempt, cannot pass the tax paper ever"".

What are your views about this statement ? Post new replies ..
