Regards, In This imaginative World Nothing is Impossible - Desert Sleet - 01-14-2005 CIPFA or Chartered Institute of Public and Finance Accountants is a UK Accountancy Body, and the most expensive qualification amongst other accountancy qualifications (ACCA, ACA,ICMA, CIMA) CIPFA is beneficial if you are working in the public sector areas covered are Financial Reporting for Central and Local Government and the NHS. I believe the other papers i.e. Leadership and Management, Audit, Information Technology Management, Tax etc are similar to the other bodies. There are 2 other specialised papers Public Policy and Public Finance which need to be completed in CIPFA.
quote
Figures are in GBT Registration 50 Annual Subscription Fee- Full Year 148 After 1 July - Half Year 74 After 1 December - 2006 full year fee will apply TBC Certificate Level OLM Finanical Accounting 130 Financial Management, Systems and Techniques 130 Financial Reporting 130 Management Accounting 130 Diploma Level OLM Audit & Assurance 250 Accounting for Decision Making 250 Governance & Public Policy 250 Financial Performance & Reporting 250 Leadership & Management 250 Taxation 100 Public Finance 100 Final Test of Professional Competence OLM Strategic Business Management 400 Case Study 400 Exam Entry Fee Certificate & Diploma Stages - Per Module 90 (£45 for half modules) Late Entry Fee 100 (£50 for half modules) FTPC - per module 200 Late Entry Fee 150 Submission of IPDS 200 P3 - Case Study 200 P3 - Project 400 P3 - Case Study & Project - Taken at the same sitting 460 Late Entry Fee 150 Exemption Fee 50 per module

For Exam Entry FOrm Plz download it from this link.
