Choosing an Institution - baber86 - 07-25-2003 AOA I am a new member and i was really impressed with this site so i decided to sign up. I have recently given my A-level exams and am now seeking admission in an RAET. I would really appreciate it if you could help me in choosing it. Oh, i forgot to mention i live in Karachi. thanks baber Edited by - baber86 on Jul 25 2003 123109 AM - sumaaan - 07-25-2003 All institutions in Karachi are more or less the same with a faculty on rotation basis with, the exception of a few... Try tabanis, AL HAMD, CAMS, SBS. If you're an A Levels student, you'd probably find SBS better although a number of A levels students prefer tabanis to adjust in a similar environment. - Evolution - 07-25-2003 I would suggest that as an A-level student you should also consider going for ACCA as many of us who give A-levels prefer to do so. Institutions teaching ACCA are the same as those mentioned by Sumaaan. If u live in clifton or defence u will probably prefer CAMS. - baber86 - 07-26-2003 AOA thank you sumaan and evolution for replyin to my query. regards baber - sumaaan - 07-28-2003 I don't mean to argue with anyone... But I know A LOT OF A LEVELS student who have opted for CA rather than ACCA this year... And it is true that A levels students are sort of 'afraid', YES AFRAID OF CA, coz they don't have a clue what sort of exam paper or structure the 'icap mufti s' would give, and thats the main reason why SOME A levels students prefer ACCA as their exams are of a 'proper standard'. |
