Hi People,
FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH A BEST FORUM, I SEARCHED THE FORUM A-Z BUT DID NOT FIND SUCH A CASUAL SITE LOL AND THAT FROM MY COUNTRY?? COOL!!, I NEED SOME ADVICE FROM YOU PEOPLE, I HOPE I GET THE BEST REPLY FROM QUALIFIED PEOPLE
I AM AN INTERMEDIATE AND MY PARENTS STRESSED ME TO GO TO UK FOR MY EDUCATION AS HERE ALL THE COURSES ARE OFFERED BUT THE INSTITUTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS ARE NOT INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED AND ARE CONFINE TO THE SAME COUNTRY ONLY. NOW COMES THE QUESTION WHAT TO DO? IF THE QUALIFICATION GOTTA BE MBA, ACCA, OR CA WHAT IS THE RIGHT COURSE I SHOULD GO FOR OR THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS THAT WOULD ULTIMATELY LEAD TO THESE QUALIFICATIONS. THE COURSES OFFERED BY THE UNOVERSITIES I AM APPLYING TO ARE AS FOLLOWS

THE ABOVE MENTIONED ARE THE ONLY BUSINESS AND ACCOUNTANCY RELATED COURSES OFFERED BY THEM. PLEASE MENTION ANY OTHER IF YOU KNOW AND HELP ME. THANK YOU VEY MUCH YOU PEOPLE ARE DOING A GREAT JOB I AM WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY.

Hi Mohsin,
Doing BA Hons. from a reputed institute of UK ll take 4 years...and again for doing MBA from a good institute requires u to be above the age of 25 plus an experience of 2-3 years...
For ACCA u needs to do CAT first that ll take max of 1 year...and then ACCA that needs 3 years(approx)
so if I'd have been at ur place then I'd opt for ACCA...because of its short time period...and ofcourse u ll get B.Sc Hon in Applied Accountings during ur ACCA...

Maani, which university in the UK has 4 year fulltime undergraduate programme? All UK business related programmes are 3 years fulltime and would lead to BA or BSc.
Top MBAs are very expensive but although they don't ask for any particular age group, most of them tend to ask for 2+ years of solid work experience plus a solid GMAT score.

Firstly, Thank you very much for encouraging our Community & Members. Mohsin I dont know where do you live ....but you mentioned in your post the name of PAC ( & I m roughly thinking that you live in Lahore..?? M I right !) ....If you live in Lahore then I would suggest you to go for the option of BBA from one of the most renowned & leading name in the profession of accountancy, that is LUMS (Lahore University of Management & Science)..dont choose the option for going abroad if you clear LUMS's BBA test... then definitely go for this route because this institute has gain some valuable corporate image all over the pakistan. Living abroad is a difficult job, & every one could'nt make some extraordinary & strenous effort....but if you have approached to settle yourself in U.K. then ACCA will also give you a fair market response.
