what qualification to go for? - JAMESLONDON - 05-25-2005 Hi all, I am new on here. Just wondering if anyone could help. I am 20 years old and after messing around during my teen years have now decided to study (and study hard lol). I wanted to get into accountancy and heard about an access course available. You only have to study for 1 year, then can go to university (provided you pass). I have also heard about the AAT qualification and was wondering (since you do not need previous qualifications to do both) which would be a better route. I am not sure as to the pros and cons of both sides. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [D] - FAK - 05-26-2005 you can join ACCA as a mature student after 21 yr for tht u dont need anything except GCSE English language certificate, after passing papers 1.1 and 1.2 u can even join there Degree program.
