where to get ACCA books in karachi - Slush - 06-19-2005
hi every one i am a new member of this form, and i am from karachi, pakistan.
i registered in ACCA about three months ago and planing to attempt paper 1.1 and 1.2 this december. As i am self studying these papers i know the course outline but i am still looking for the course material books, notes and stuff, I heared foulks lynch and BPP are the official books for ACCA please guide me where to get them are they even available in karachi local market (Urdu Bazar).
How much do i have to pay for them are they available in Original or in Pirate versions.
Also please let me know if any one from karachi selling second hand books.

1)How much do i have to pay for them are they available in Original or in Pirate versions.

2.Don't Go to Urdu Bazar they will Misguide/Cheat You
They will give you Old/Out of Date Books and
Charge High Price for Old Books and Say it is Discounted Price
3.Prices varies but you Pay about Rupess 2800/=
for 1.1 & 1.2 of ATFL & PBB Both with related Materials
4.Solved Papers are Part of Revision Materials
5.Try to Read Both ATFL & BPP

You can buy second hand books @ commerce book point. Follow Mahtabs advice. I personally prefer the Commerce book point guy. He'll provide you photocopy versions of FTC books (if u ask him) but I dont think that the BPP books have clear photostats.
DONT EVER go to URDU BAZAR.
