well friendz! a friend of mine is is of the opinion is that chatting on net with opposite sex is UNISLAMIC. can any body please make this point clear to all of us and to him/her as well?

Any type of Relationship with "NA MAHRAM" is prohibited in Islam. All woman who are not your "Sisters, Mothers, Real aunts, Grand Mothers,wifes, Etc" are "NA MAHRAM"
If we are Muslims we have to follow Islam as it is, with out any modification or enhancements. There is no concept of fundamentalism, modernisationor in Islam.
