For ICMAP - msg2umair - 01-05-2006

Recently it is made compulsary to show [half or 1 year] experience to get he certificate of ACMA ...

So in the light of above query would anyone tell me that which firm is more appropriate to join ... cause i've heard that CA Audit Firms don't give much preference to intake an ACMA [part or wholly qualified]

Dear Member

Since you are pursuing the ICMA, you should join that organization where you have more opportunities to apply your knowledge. CA firms are good if you want to learn the audit skills. Since audit is not a core/major of ICMA, I would advise you to go for any large manufacturing organisation. You can easily get the training contract by applying to their HR department. ICMA's Corporate relations Department(CRD) can help you in getting that if you contact to them.
