I am agree with Muhammad Ahmed That T. Lucey and

Shahid Nadeem Ishtiaq are helpful Books but read

only relevant topics from those books and

Nasiruddin/Nisaruddin's Book on cost Accounting is

also a Good book but only specific topics

I don't know about cost accounting book for CA mod d. But Cost Accounting written by Glautier and Underdown is a good general reading book, specially for ACCA 1.2 and CIMA C1 students.

MOD-D cost accounting book by MOHAMMAD RIAZ is the best

- usmankhalid - 06-12-2006

To get a grip, study Matz Usry and for british approach and theory follow Emile Woolfe. But the problem is that last COST A/C paper of ICAP had two questions from PB Publications so I guess for full syllabus coverage, we should follow PB only! Damn it!

The fact is that you cannot prepare your CA exam from only one book...you will find a topic explained in an appropriate(as per ur understanding) in one book, and the other one might be better explained in some other book...So don't stick to some rule...Use these books Colling Drury, Matz Usry and I also used to get some concepts from Meigs n Meigs...
