We, a global IT enabled group, require a talented person in our finance department as Financial Analyst. The selection criterion is as under

<b>Primary Responsibilities</b>

1. Provide internal financial reports on both regular and ad-hoc bases.
2. Work with the various persons with budgetary responsibility to develop and improve budget quality and adherence.
3. Work with project managers to develop financial models.
4. Work to improve detail reporting to allow development of more meaningful reporting including client level and site level analysis.
5. Other items as assigned.

Also,

- Willing to work odd hours - 6pm to 3am.

- The job is LAHORE based.

Candidate having part / full professional qualifications (ACCA, ACMA, ACA, CFA, MBA (F) & Others) having 1-2 years of exposure and experience of ERP softwares, advance excel techniques, budget preparations and model construction may apply to the following email address latest by 26th August 2007.

The objective of this paper is to present the common errors in the valuation process to estimate the intrinsic value of a company/asset. The discounting cash flow (DCF) approach is considered to be the most accurate (theoretically), flexible and widely used method. It is for that reason that most analysts prefer to use it for valuing a company/asset. In this paper, we will give attention to some conceptual errors when applying the DCF approach.
