Guys

The point is that these race/caste/sect things are generally used to score a point against some other race/caste/sect in our society. These things are used as great dividers of people rather than aggregators. How would u like if everybody starts to introduce themselves as

"Hi i am Guybrush, i am a Caucasian (that means i have white skin), i belong to Sunni sect and to the Deobandi sub-sect and my caste is Bantwa Memon."

Now this is bound to irritate many even if my intention wasnt to irk anybody. Therefore, i say that its better to leave these social taboos only for private discussions and should not be mentioned on public boards.

Simply tell me one thing, would u like to mention these things in your CV? I dont think that you would.

Agreed Guybrush.
It is just due to our ancestors used to live with Hindus, therefore we adopted most of their customs, values etc.

Hello everyone!
i just got onto this site by coincidence and am truly impressed and overjoyed to find such a forum for us people in the accounting and finance profession, especially us future MBA FCAs Wink(may be a future chartered accountants as the phrase goes among us CA students). we must all combine our efforts to bring the CA students community closer and help each other in achieving the difficult goals and make things easy for each other through support and help in every way possible. we the juniors can have a great opportunity to learn from the seniors and request thes eniors to extend a cooperative hand and bless us with their much sought after and valuable experience and guidance.
we can all help each other with the study of subjects and prep for exams and even placements for article ships in good firms.

i hope my experience on this forum is a memorable and productive one.

glad to be here, I'm an ICAP foundation and ACCA part 1 student from Karachi.
