Sir i am CA finalist here in Karachi.I want your comments on your provided information that ICAEW is going to give ACA status to ACCA members having two years work experience, you actually provided some e-mail id of ICAEW officials, when it is going to happen?

Sorry for late reply as I am not visting this site much because some stupid people always mess up.

ICAEW pahtway route allows CCAB (ACCA, CIMA AND CIPFA) members to become ICAEW full member without any examinations. Under this route CCAB members need to have 5 yrs post membership experience.

I must say ICAEW mainly introduced this route for Partners of firms as ICAEW feels number of CA firms will be reduced in future due to deciline in ACA students. For Example Baker Tilly Mooney Moore www.bakertillymooneymoore.co.uk based in N.Ireland and part of Baker Tilly International (amongst top 10 firms in the world)used to be known as Baker Tilly Mooner Moore Chartered Accountant, but nowadys it is known as Baker Tilly Moony Moore Chartered Certified Accountant.

You can have information about ICAEW CCAB route by clicking on the link below.

I hope it helps.
