NATIONAL BANK OF PAKISTAN CONTACT - javed - 09-26-2009

Contact emails on National Bank of Pakistan website ever keep changing. The last one was enquiries@nationalbank.com.pk which has now disappeared from the site. It appears it is deliberate so that public may not actually disturb the NBP top "Self-Awarded" elite. Now it has changed to a new Feedback/Enquiry On Line Form http//nbp.com.pk/NBPEnquiries.aspx. The format is very very strange. Since dealing with a bank naturally means one is to give his/her full officially recorded name which invariably is not less than two words. But as soon as two names eg Muhammad Javed are inserted the system in red warns you " Don't use Special Characters in User name". When one types his/her address in the column the warning comes " Please don't user special characters", what are these special characters is not indicated. However after several attempts it dawned on me that slash, dash, comma etc is not to be included. Then one needs to submit his/her enquiry/information for which bank is to be contacted. The system indicates the message should not be more than 950 characters. For the last three days I am trying to send a message to the Bank which as per Word Count is 630 without any coma, dash but the system rejects it saying message not to be more than 950 character or do not use special character. What are special characters it is not explained. The Bank account numbers today are mostly having a dash or a extended dot. Even removing these the system still tells me not to use special character where as now my message is simple alphabetic English. To me it appears its web format has deliberately been made so that a formality that public access has been provided but ensuring it does not work so that public messages which are mostly complaints do not reach the high management. Will the NBP top self-award management through this esteem advise what is its main official Head Office top management email address which at present appears to be none on the web.
